Experiencing the most amazing patterns and colors of nature, my desire for natural color combinations was more than satisfied. It was as if we were walking and witnessing another planet that was in the process of forming before our eyes.

In entering the park, I was seeking a transformative visual take away and although, I had seen photos and had visited here as a kid, I was not prepared for the way the colors got into my psyche. The soft and sweetly vibrant colors set off by the mist and steam became part of how I think about color from now on.
